The spiritually enlightened heart, the culturally enriched soul, the academically astute mind, the artistically & atheletically-inclined bodies of our youth have one thing in common. They all seek to experience a world that affords them the opportunity of realizing the fullness of who they are.

It is in their collective dreams and the dreams of our ancestors where we can find that continuous montivation to encounter each other in the life activities that bring us together as a people. The maturity of our adulthood should not be based on our age but on the acceptance of the responsiblility to create an environment that nutures the development of the WHOLE child: mind, body, and spirit. HELP & SUPPORT

The Funds provide financial, technical and humanitarian assistance for the families, youth and programs under the WOA umbrella.

EDUCATION

We define WOA Education as the promotion of aesthetic education and the development of creative abilities of children and youth.

MENTORING

Our Boy's Rites Of Passage Program through the Male Action Coalition provides instruction in History & Culture, Life Skills, and Leadership Skills.

VOLUNTEERING

The Development of our programs and the enhancement of our youth becomes a healing process for the entire community.

There is opportunity within black communities. The untapped intellectual, cultural, spiritrual and economic capacity of black communities is mind-numbing. WOA seeks to be the vehicle used to harnest those resources for the development of our youth as we forge our way to a better future.
